On Friday 27 November, Espen Helgeland defended his PhD thesis at the University of Bergen with the dissertation Scaffold-Based Temporomandibular Joint Cartilage Regeneration – Using Bone Marrow Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells ”. The dissertation was conducted digitally, and the opponents were physically located in the United Kingdom and Denmark, respectively.
