Kudos to our PhD candidate, Jannika, for her first publication 🎉

Our PhD candidate, Jannika Korkeamäki, has recently published her research focusing on enhancing scaffold properties for bone tissue engineering. By incorporating nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA) with cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs), the study identifies scaffolds containing 20% nHA as having optimal characteristics for cell response, showing potential for improved bone regeneration therapies. This work highlights the institution’s dedication to research innovation. Congratulations to the PhD candidate and people behind this work as a team for this significant contribution to the field.
