Shuntaro Yamada, a Ph.D candidate at the Tissue Engineering group in the Centre of Translational Research, Department of Clinical Dentistry (Main supervisor: Prof. Kamal Mustafa), was awarded the Meltzer Project Grants 2022 for students and Ph.D.
The project awarded is “the development and application of a novel bioreactor system as a platform for bone regeneration”, which was designed based on his 3 recent publications on the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Journal of Tissue Engineering, and Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology.
The grant is annually awarded to the only top 10% of nominated students and PhD by Meltzer Research Fund.
