First Annual Cellu4Heal Project Meeting at RISE PFI, Trondheim – April 2025
The Cellu4Heal consortium gathered for its first annual project meeting at RISE PFI in Trondheim, Norway, hosted by Professor Kristin Syverud, in April 2025. The event brought together all project partners for an inspiring exchange of ideas, collaboration, and progress.
Throughout the meeting, research teams presented their exciting initial findings, exchanged insights, and engaged in productive discussions about ongoing work and future directions for the Cellu4Heal project. The atmosphere was dynamic and forward-looking, with a strong sense of shared purpose and momentum.
The meeting concluded with a guided tour of RISE PFI’s state-of-the-art laboratories, including a fascinating introduction to the nanocellulose production process, followed by steps in purification, modification, and characterizations—a true highlight for all participants.
We’re already looking forward to the next annual meeting, which will be hosted by the National University of Science and Technology in Bucharest, Romania, in May or June 2026.
