Bergen Stem Cell Consortium meeting 2019 took place in Bergen where researchers not only from Norway but also from several European countries came together to discuss recent development of research and clinical application in stem cell biology. Ph.D. candidate, Shuntaro Yamada, presented his ongoing work with the title of “Plasma surface activation of polymeric biomaterials improved seeding efficiency by accelerating cell adhesion and elongation”, in which Shuntaro received Lightning Talk Presentation Prize.
Bergen Stem Cell Consortium meeting 2019 took place in Bergen where researchers not only from Norway but also from several European countries came together to discuss about recent development of research and clinical application in stem cell biology.
The tissue engineering research group led by Professor. Kamal Mustafa at IKO attended the meeting, and the group deepened knowledge and built a strong network in the field. In the meeting, Dr. Cecillie Gudveig Gjerde provided a keynote lecture “The maxillo cells; long-term outcome and some future prospective”. Also, a Ph.D. candidate, Shuntaro Yamada, presented his ongoing work with the title of “Plasma surface activation of polymeric biomaterials improved seeding efficiency by accelerating cell adhesion and elongation”, in which Shuntaro received Lightning Talk Presentation Prize.
