A Ph.D candidate in the Tissue Engineering group, Shuntaro Yamada, won the NOF Hatton Award 2022 in Pan European Region-International Accusation of Dental Research (IADR) congress.

He presented a part of his Ph.D project titled “Osteogenic Profile of Mechanically Stimulated Mesenchymal Stem Cells”, which received a great interest from dental clinicians and researchers.

As a representative of young researchers in Dental Research in 8 Nordic countries, he will participate in Hatton Award Competition, which will take place in the IADR General Congress in Colombia, in 2023.
